Great faith, not bad but not enough. Great hope, good enough but not complete. Great love, this is perfect. Until burning hot, and burn somebody’s cold/ frozen heart with God’s love, make them have the same great love, love your God and love your neighbor. Let’s make this world on fire. The true fire: “Loving God”. HE is the number 1, none the same, nothing compares. I love you, Lord.

Thanksgiving is a recognition of God’s many and varied gifts to us as individuals, as a family, as a nation. For this we ought to give God glory and thanks always and everywhere. Not just turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberries and other delicious food, drinks and desserts. Thank God for Longing For God Fellowship, so we can learn not only how to ask, how to pray but the most important how to please God. Happy Thanksgiving!!! God bless you.

Serve

Can you dedicate your life to serve rather than enrich yourself? What am I doing to make somebody’s life better? Who hurt you the most? Where do you see yourself five years from now? Ten years from now? Are your expectations set high enough? Too high?

A Voice at Night

When Samuel was old enough, his mother took him to live with Eli at the tabernacle.
One night after they had gone to bed, Samuel heard a voice calling him, “Samuel”, “Samuel”. Now Samuel thought it was Eli. So he ran to Eli. “Here I am,” said Samuel. But Eli said, ” I did not call you. Go back to bed.” Samuel went back to bed.

Then he heard it again: “Samuel”, “Samuel!”. Samuel got up. He ran to Eli. “Here I am,” he said. “I did not call you,” said Eli. “Go back to bed.” But Samuel heard it again: “Samuel”, “Samuel!” Samuel ran to Eli. “Here I am,” he said. Then Eli knew that God was calling. He said, “Go and lie down. If you hear the voice again, say ‘Speak Lord, I am listening.'” So Samuel lay down in his bed. Soon God called again: “Samuel”, “Samuel!” Samuel said, “Speak Lord, I am listening.” And God spoke to Samuel. Samuel told God’s people what God said. Samuel was a prophet.

If you hear God’s voice, do not harden your heart. Say, like Samuel, “Speak Lord, I am listening.”

“Ngeri, ngeri, sedap”

A God’s beloved servant one time said to me:

Kalau ikut Tuhan itu: ngeri, ngeri, sedap.
Kalau ikut dunia itu: sedap, sedap, ngeri.

Does anybody know what it means? It means if you follow God, at the beginning you don’t know the way, you have to pick up your cross, deny yourself, read the Bible, go to the church, to the fellowship, but after God knows that you are faithful, you are trustworthy, He will give you the reward, you will enjoy your blessings.

If you choose to follow the world, you enjoy first, party, drinking,do whatever you like, but after that you will live in deep sorrow, separate from God.

Better wise: choose the right way, only one way go to heaven through Jesus Christ. People usually don’t plan to fail –they just fail to plan. God bless you and yours.

A Daily Surrender

The filling of the Holy Spirit should not be a once–for–all event, but a continuous reality every day of our lives. It’s not only a beginning but a process. We must surrender ourselves to Him daily, and every day we must choose to remain surrendered. In every situation involving conflict between self and God’s will, we must make our decisions on the basis of our constant submission to Christ.

However, He can fill only those who wish to be emptied of self and yielded to Him. Let God Be Glorified.

Talents

Do you remember the story about: 5 talents, 2 talents and 1 talent?

Matthew 25:14-30.

Such confidence the master had in his servants, for he “entrusted his possessions to them”! But not all servants proved trustworthy–controlled by fear, one did nothing to increase what had been given him. As disciples who are entrusted now with the saving work of Jesus, we are to act boldly with the unmerited and generous “possessions” we have been given. Our faithfulness to the mission leads us to an even more wondrous “possessions”–full participation in the “master’s joy.”

His master said to him, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.” Since you were faithful in small matters, I will give you great responsibilities.

The Power of Prayer

The prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective. James 5:16

“Dear God, when I become aware of people around me contending with difficulties in their lives, remind me to pray for them. Let me hold them up to you for healing and comfort or whatever you know is their biggest need. Help them surrender the stressful situations in their lives to you. Add my care and compassion for them to yours”.

Be a blessing for others! Jesus needs you. The world needs you too. Let God Be Exalted.
