Are you the one?

This is a conversation between a mom with eleven children and her youngest son. Her son asked her: “Mom, among your eleven children am I the one that you loves the most because I am the youngest? His mom answered lovingly: “No son, the one that I’ll love the most is the one who need me the most.” Same with Jesus the one that He’ll love the most is the one who need Him the most. Do you need Him?

Let Jesus Be Glorified.

Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
But how can they call on Him in whom they have not believed?
And how can they believe in Him of whom they have not heard?
And how can they hear without someone to preach?
And how can people preach unless they are sent?

Porcupine

This is the lovely story about the porcupine, that I heard a couple days ago. It goes something like this:

In the winter, porcupines come together to hibernate. They come very close together for warmth and so their quills stick into each other, and this hurts. They must stay together, however, in order to survive. If one leaves and goes out into the cold, cruel world, it will not survive the winter.

We are somewhat like those porcupines. Christians are not meant to be alone! We need a support group which helps us to grow spiritually, to bless one another (even though it may hurt, sometimes). God always be with us.

Power

Even today, God’s voice has the power to silence all the other voices in our lives. The devil may accuse us, our own flesh may croon words of self indulgence, self pity. But God’s voice can still them all. Turn to that voice, words of love, encouragement and hope. This still, small voice has the power to silence all others!

“Call me by name (say it your name….) so that I, Your sheep, can hear Your voice. Show me the place of peace, lead me to the good grass that will nourish me, bring me to the life of abundance, so that I can be a model for others too.”

In Jesus Mighty Name.

Mary Mother of God

Mother of God, you risked saying yes to being pregnant with the Holy One,
May I also overcome my fears and take the risks that spiritual growth requires of me.

Mother of God, you offered the hospitality of your womb as a dwelling place for the Holy One,
May I continually open my heart to all who need a welcome there.

Mother of God, you awaited the long nine months of the child’s gestation,
May i wait patiently when spiritual growth seems to come far too slowly.

Mother of God, you did not know how the birth of your child would affect your life,
May I trust in God’s presence to protect and guide me when I face uncertainty.

Prayer

We must be people of prayer. We must spend every day in prayer. We must read Scripture in order that we put on the mind of Christ. We must pray, in order to be open to the gifts of the Holy Spirit, asking each day for His help and guidance, so that we may become sensitive to the movement of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

We must be educated people. We must read, we must listen to good teachings. We must always continue to grow, because we are on a journey; the road to holiness. We have not arrived! We should make a commitment to a community, prayer meeting, prayer group, because we need that support.

Love from Los Angeles, California to all of our dear partners. God be with us.

Beyond Wishes

Joy and hope are never separate. I have never met a hopeful person who was depressed or a joyful person who had lost hope. But hope is something other than wishes, and joy something other than happiness. You hope in God and rejoice in God’s presence even when your many wishes are not realized and you are not very happy with the circumstances of your life.

“God, You are my only hope, You are the source of my joy.”

The Year of Faith

In moments of hesitation, remind ourselves:

  • If not me, then who will proclaim the Gospel?
  • If not now, then when will the Gospel be proclaimed?
  • If not the truth of the Gospel, then what shall I proclaim?

God bless you.

Dream

God has given many people dreams and visions to accomplish for Him. The sad part is that many have quit when they reached a hard part, and their shattered dream was laid on a shelf to collect dust.

Has God had to go out and look for somebody to do your job for His Kingdom? Maybe He had to use someone who didn’t have all your qualifications, but when He asked you, you refused. They had a a willing heart, and they pressed forward with God’s dream until it became a reality and souls were snatched from the burning pits of hell.

Keep moving with My Spirit, and I will show you the greatest victory of all. God bless you.
