Grace

Contrasted cheap grace and costly grace.
CHEAP GRACE is the grace we bestow on ourselves, the preaching of forgiveness without requiring repentance,
*grace without discipleship,
*grace without the cross,
*grace without Jesus Christ, living and incarnate.
COSTLY GRACE is the gospel which must be sought again and again, the gift which must be asked for, the door at which a man must knock.
Such grace is costly because it calls us to follow Jesus Christ.
It is costly because it costs a man his life, and it is grace because it gives a man the only TRUE LIFE.

Loyalty to God

Being exposed to a lot of current popular entertainment inevitably weakens our desire to follow Christ, dulls our thirst for prayer, and lulls us into accepting immorality as normal and “not so bad”.
It also addicts us to electronic stimulation, making us dissatisfied with the daily faithfulness and self-denial of living the Christian life.
Do we have goal to follow Christ with undivided loyalty?
Whatever we have allowed into our life that weakens our loyalty to Christ and leads us away from Him must be dealt with.
The Israelites were called to deal severely with disloyalty.
The only right way to relate to the holy God is to be completely loyal to Him.

He wants us to love Him with full attention, undivided attention. When you fall in love, you will make time to meet, to see, to talk, to call, to embrace, to hold, to do everything together with Him, even until to reach the point you abandon yourself in the ocean of His love and mercy.
His love and mercy is so great.

God loved us first, and our love/ loyalty is a response of gratitude to His great mercy and kindness towards us.
