No Limit

There is no limit to what we can do — just as there is no limit to the mercy and healing that God can pour out. Focus on the most attractive reason why we should let Jesus into our lives: spiritual wealth, very deep, deeper than only material wealth. Open the door. Let Him come in and fill you with all the wealth and blessings He has set aside for you. Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 5:3

Parable of the Sower

JESUS’ parable of the sower is aimed at the hearers of His Word.
There are different ways of accepting God’s word and they produce different kinds of fruit accordingly.

1. PREJUDICE HEARER who has a shut mind. Such person is unteachable and blind to what he or she doesn’t want to hear.
2. SHALLOW HEARER, they lack depth.
They may initially respond with emotional reaction; but when it wears off their mind wanders to something else.
3. Another type of hearer is the person who has MANY interests or cares, but who lacks the ability to hear or comprehend what is TRULY important.
Such person is too busy to pray or too preoccupied to study and meditate on God’s word.
4. Then there is ONE whose MIND IS OPEN.
Such person is at all times willing to listen and to learn.
She or he is NEVER TOO PROUD or TOO BUSY to learn.
They listen in order to understand
God gives grace to those who hunger for His word that they may understand HIS WILL and have the strength to live according to it.
Do you hunger for God’s word?

If you think The Lord is calling you in certain direction, go there —– even if you can’t see how it contributes to the final product.
If you’re trying your best and nothing’s working out, be patient. God is still at work, bringing his plan to completion.
Let go of any stress, anxiety, and fear you may feel, and allow yourself to smile.
For God, the Master Builder, is working everything together for your good!
“Lord Jesus, I’m going to let you be in charge. I trust that you are at work in me,building me and shaping me in ways I can’t even imagine!”
Lord, bless me so I can soar like an eagle.

The way of the just is straight.
Although narrow, it leads to life.
The way is narrow at the beginning but afterwards, one runs in the way of God’s commandments in the unutterable sweetness of love.

For those who are beginning, (the beginning) is indeed narrow, as it was for David when he said: Because of the words of Your mouth I have followed harsh ways.

These men knew Jesus.
They followed Jesus from Galilee to Jerusalem.
They lived with Him.
They saw His miracles and heard His teaching.
What’s more, these apostles gave up their lives for Jesus.
And what did they receive in return for their dedication?
Hardship and persecution.
Logically speaking, no one would willingly choose this kind of life unless they were convinced that Jesus really was who He claimed to be.
No one would heroically give everything for the sake of Jesus and His message unless something ——– or Someone ——– proved it to them.
Lord, You are the Lover of my soul.

Fasting purifies the soul.
Fasting from food and drink.
Fasting from negative thinking.
Fasting from can’t do things.
Fasting from toxic thought.
Fasting from the desire of the flesh.
Fasting is a safeguard for chastity.
We read in the book of Daniel that it was after a fast of three weeks that he received the revelation from God (Dn 10:2-4)
Fasting is really important.
Start a new beginning in 2014: put “fasting” in your agenda.
When others say “who cares”, you say “I care”, because Jesus cares.
God bless.

There is a story of a man who once met a boy carrying a smaller crippled lad on his back. That’s a heavy load you are carrying there,” exclaimed the man.
“He ain’t heavy; he’s my brother!” responded the boy.
The Jewish people use the image of a yoke to express their submission to God.
What kind of yoke does the Lord Jesus have in mind for each one of us? And how can it be good for us?
Jesus says His yoke is “easy”.
Jesus also says his “burden is light.”
No burden is too heavy when it’s given in love and carried in love.
When we yoke our lives with Jesus, He also carries our burdens with us and gives us His strength to follow in His way of love.
He is hiring!!!

Walking with the Lord

When we walk with the Lord, we leave with him all our burdens, and this confers the strength to accomplish the mission He gives to us. He who takes from us gives to us; He takes upon himself our weakness and gives us his strength. It is certain that Christ works with us and within us as we “put out into deeper waters,” as now we must. When times are difficult and unpromising, the Lord himself urges us “to cast our nets once more.” Taste and See his great love and mercy, once again.
